The Royal Sea Cliff offers swimming in saltwater and freshwater pools, both on the oceanfront and both blessed with neighboring coconut trees and the sounds of the ocean foaming against a rocky shore. The saltwater pool is especially inviting, since it's larger and has a more spacious sundeck and more umbrellas. The freshwater pool complex includes a six-person hot tub and a cabana equipped with men's and women's changing rooms and showers.

The strikingly contemporary, flat-roofed, white-stucco, 142-room property has seven floors but appears to be low-rise because it's terraced so steeply into the cliff. Two wings descend the cliff, and between them is a narrow atrium garden containing fountains, ponds, waterfalls, and benches for guests to linger amid the water sounds and plantings. Outside the hotel's wings, lawn terraces provide panoramic ocean views and sunning sites.

The course can be a tough test when the trade winds blow. But the relaxing setting in this lovely ranchland will make for a peaceful day of golfing enjoyment. The Ranch House Restaurant nearby is home to some of the finest beef dinners you will have anywhere.

The setting for this exceptional full service country club is very spectacular. The course is routed through the lava fields at elevations of 2,100 to 2,800 feet. This location provides unbelievable views of the island and the coastline below. The added elevation make shot selections interesting and the courses design makes for an enjoyable day of golf. The facilities and dining room are all first class, and you will be treated as a member for the day. The greens are fast and require a delicate touch in order to score well here.

This legendary masterpiece designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. is set on the slopes of Mauna Kea overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean. Opening in 1972 as the centerpiece of the Waikoloa Village Resort, the course is a true resort style course that offers wide landing areas off the tee but requires a top level game to score well. The greens are Bermuda grass and are always tough to read with the subtle breaks away from the mountain. The clubhouse is home to an excellent restaurant and full service pro shop. The practice facilities and learning center are all here for your game improvement needs.

Big Island Country Club

18 Holes; Par 72; 6661 yards

A true Pete/Perry Dye course, Located at the 2500 foot elevation in the cool mountain air above Kona. The course has Bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways with spectacular water features. Five sets of tee boxes ranging from 4,600-7,200 yards give all caliber of players the proper challenge. The 17th hole island green is their signature hole.

This course is at a higher elevation than typical Hawaiian courses. The fairways are slightly rolling and play host to over 2,000 types of vegetation. The medium-sized greens are undulating and moderate in speed. Two holes have large trees in the middle of the fairway. The greens, as well as the fairways, remain in excellent condition throughout the year. Water comes into play on nine holes.
