Our spacious condominiums are decorated to match the island paradise and include a full kitchen and private lanais as well as in-room washers and dryers and daily maid service. Situated on a rocky shore, this condominium resort offers 86 units scattered amid immaculate grounds, 1.5 miles from the center of Kailua-Kona Village. Two golf courses are located 2 miles away. All condos have large lanais that face the ocean. Accommodations are also equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, two bathrooms, full kitchens, washers, dryers, VCRs, and safes.

Waves from the Pacific fill a salt water pool, a sandy area offers a prime spot for sun-worshipping, and other amenities include two pools, a spa tub, and three gas barbecue grills.

Unlike most condominium resorts in this stretch of the rocky Kona Coast, Kona by the Sea provides a sandy area for guests to enjoy the sun. Roughly 70 yards wide and 15 yards deep, the sand section lies between the ocean foaming on the lava rocks and the resort's fresh-water pool. Rectangular in shape, the pool is large enough for swimming short laps. The surrounding sundeck includes a jet spa, lounge chairs, dining tables, umbrellas, and three gas barbecue grills built into a tile counter.

Comprising 86 units in two five-story wings, Kona by the Sea is a contemporary resort with immaculate tropical grounds. In the lobby is an activities desk for booking luaus, golf times, helicopter sightseeing flights, and all other activities available on The Big Island.

All units have large lanais facing the ocean. Each one- and two-bedroom unit features a full kitchen, two bathrooms, a washer/dryer, and a VCR. Rooms are air conditioned and also have ceiling fans. Decor is clean and contemporary with a tropical flair: richly colored floral prints offset by white furniture.

The Ranch House Restaurant nearby is home to some of the finest beef dinners you will have anywhere.

The setting for this exceptional full service country club is very spectacular. The course is routed through the lava fields at elevations of 2,100 to 2,800 feet. The facilities and dining room are all first class, and you will be treated as a member for the day. The greens are fast and require a delicate touch in order to score well here.

This legendary masterpiece designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. is set on the slopes of Mauna Kea overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean. Opening in 1972 as the centerpiece of the Waikoloa Village Resort, the course is a true resort style course that offers wide landing areas off the tee but requires a top level game to score well. The greens are Bermuda grass and are always tough to read with the subtle breaks away from the mountain. The clubhouse is home to an excellent restaurant and full service pro shop. The practice facilities and learning center are all here for your game improvement needs.

Big Island Country Club

18 Holes; Par 72; 6661 yards

A true Pete/Perry Dye course, Located at the 2500 foot elevation in the cool mountain air above Kona. The course has Bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways with spectacular water features. Five sets of tee boxes ranging from 4,600-7,200 yards give all caliber of players the proper challenge. The 17th hole island green is their signature hole.

This course is at a higher elevation than typical Hawaiian courses. The fairways are slightly rolling and play host to over 2,000 types of vegetation. The medium-sized greens are undulating and moderate in speed. Two holes have large trees in the middle of the fairway. The greens, as well as the fairways, remain in excellent condition throughout the year. Water comes into play on nine holes.
